What a day. Not the most spectacular conditions, but I don't care - I pretty much looped today. Went out, had a few warm up jumps and then went in to get suitable amounts of peer pressure. Put lid on, went out and whoosh. Straight round, felt so smooth. I landed in the waterstart position facing exactly the right way. I was so surprised though that I let the rig drop back into the water, so I swam out from under it and did a triumphant wave to the beach. I can't get over the feeling of it - f*cking amazing as it goes round.

Tried three more times after that, but bizarrely my confidence had gone (along with my legs going to jelly) and on the last attempt I stuck myself through the foot of the sail so expensive repair on the way. Just spent the remaining hour blasting around with a broken sail.

16th Sept - a date to be remembered!!
